“I was able to really learn more about things going on with my mother internally,” the 23-year-old shared in a recent episode. “[Doctors] basically said that because she was drinking so much, it was starting to affect her headspace and her brain. I think they said it was alcohol-induced dementia.”

Who is Kevin Hunter Jr’s father?
Kevin Hunter Jr was born to parents Wendy Williams, 59, and Kevin Hunter Sr, 51, in August 2000, states People. The couple were married for over two decades before divorcing in 2019. Hunter Sr helped his wife launch her talk show, becoming her manager and production partner during the early stages of their romance, per the same source.
In a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Williams explained how she stayed in her marriage for so long for the sake of her son. “I stuck with my ex-husband because we had a son. If we didn’t have children, I would’ve been out. But we had a son and we were living, my career was doing better. According to TMZ, Williams’ son got arrested for “punching” his dad at a store’s car park about a month after his parents’ divorce.

Hunter Jr has clearly shown his affection towards his mother over the years, from appearing at her events to how he expresses his concern in the documentary. In 2019, while accepting a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, Williams told People about how her son had always been there for her.
“He’s always encouraged me to keep it going,” she said. “And never asks me to pull back from anything that I say or that I wear or anything like that. He’s always been very encouraging.
“So now, it’s just the two of us against the world,” added the talk show host.
