In 1987, She got her start in her television career at NBC affiliate KYEL-TV in Yuma, Arizona after graduating from the West Virginia Campus with a B.S. in Journalism.
Griffith also then went on to work as an anchor/reporter in many television markets across the nation, including ABC affiliate WCHS-TV in Charleston, NBC affiliate WCYB-TV in Bristol, Virginia; West Virginia; as well as NBC affiliate WTVO-TV in Rockford, Illinois.
