A new Walmart Neighborhood Market will open Feb. 11 in Tamarac. The store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Located at 6931 NW 88th Ave., the 41,500-square-feet store will offer fresh produce and groceries from leading brand names, including organic selections. There will also be meat and bakery selections, including fresh baked breads and tortillas, and a variety of ethnic specialties. The pharmacy, which includes a drive-thru lane, will offer a full range of products and services.
The new store will employ up to 95 full- and part-time associates. The grand-opening celebration will include presentations of grants from Walmart and the Walmart Foundation to local community groups.
