Team EnVyUs' CEO and owner, Mike "Hastr0" Rufail, talked in depth about the release of Team EnVyUs' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.
Team Envy's CS:GO roster was reportedly released Wednesday morning, which Hastr0 confirmed in his video. He informed fans the organization and players came to a mutual decision.
"After a couple of years of really tough times and tournaments, and a performance that just wasn't up to par for our history in the game, it kind of got up to the point where I just think it was really a mutual decision between the players and the organizations to just move on," Hastr0 said.
He also explained the distance between the organization's base in Texas and Team EnVyUs in France made "things a little bit more difficult to work with."
Team EnVyUs is now focused on building a CS:GO roster in North America.
