The theme for this year’s Tastemakers of Delray Beach event is that residents can dine around the world without leaving downtown Delray Beach. At least two dozen restaurants will participate in the two-day event from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and residents will need $25 passports that include a portion of the sale given to the American Cancer Society. The event allows participants to taste the International Culinary Cuisine of top local chefs with each restaurant involved providing entrée samples from countries around the world.

Passports are available at the following participating restaurants: Sundy House, Ziree, Tryst, Cabana El Rey, The Blue Fish, 32 East, Café de France, Olio, Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine, Il Bacio, Taste Gastropub, Brule Bistro, City Oyster & Sushi Bar, Cugini Grille, Johnnie Brown’s, Paddy McGee’s Irish Pub, GOL! The Taste of Brazil, Crepes by the Sea, Cut 432, Lemongrass, J&J Seafood, Caffe Luna Rosa, Boheme Bistro and Boston’s on the Beach. Also passports get residents into after parties with live music and also for two-for-one drinks at Boston’s on the Beach, free admission at Il Bacio Restaurant and Lounge, and drink specials at Johnnie Brown’s. Tastemakers 2010 is presented by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority, Boca Raton Magazine and Florida Table Magazine.
