FIRST TEAM
Catherine Andino, West Boca freshman: Individual district champion (70) and individual regional champion (70); finished 10 th at Class 3A state championship with a 148 total (74-74); won the Medalist Tour Tournament at Martin Downs; tied for third at the South Florida Jr. PGA Championship.
Valentina Guertin, FAU High sophomore: Tied for eighth at Class 1A state final with a 143 total (71-72); won the FJT Palm Harbor Tournament, SFPGA Labor Day Classic and Medalist Tour Tournament at Mariner Sands; previously won the Nicklaus Junior Championship; placed ninth at the FSGA Girls Junior Championship and tied for 10th at the FSGA Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
Yvette O’Brien, Grandview Prep junior: Tied for sixth at Class 1A state championship with a 140 total (69-71); shot a 72 at regional; placed fourth in the Under Armour/Jordan Spieth Championship; tied for seventh in the UNIQLO/Adam Scott Junior Championship; TCU commit.
Summer Pilot, Boca Raton senior: Two-year team captain; finished ninth at Class 3A state championship with a 147 total (75-72); 37 scoring average (9-holes); placed third at the SFPGA Tour Championship (75-70); Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week recipient.
Staci Pla, Berean Christian sophomore: Individual district champion (66); tied for 15th at Class 1A state championship with a 146 total (73-73); shot a 72 at regional; placed fifth at FJT Tour Championship; tied for fifth at FJT LPGA Open; tied for eighth at AJGA Atlanta Classic; tied for eighth at Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship.
Morgan Rodriguez, FAU High junior: Placed 30th at Class 1A state final with a 151 total; shot a 70 in the first round at states; finished with a 72 at regional; placed second at districts (73); placed second at Medalist Tour Tournament at Mariner Sands; tied for 20th at states during sophomore season.
Zoe Shamy, Jupiter junior: Team captain; individual district champion (73); placed second at regional (71); tied for 22nd at Class 3A state championship; recorded a 73 in the final round at states; tied for 10th at Pure Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach; won Medalist Tour Tournament at Osprey Point and the SFPGA Junior Cup; First Tee of the Palm Beaches member.

Cherene Castillo, FAU High: Guided team to district and regional title as well as
Class 1A state championship for the first time. “We had a fantastic year. We came in
healthy and strong. We had a very good chance to win the state title this year and that
was our goal. The girls came together as a team, played well throughout the season and
held on for a state championship.”
