Despite being closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum & Learning Center in Boynton Beach refused to let one of its most popular programs go away. So the museum’s popular “Storytime” has made the switch to the virtual landscape.

Families are welcome to join the museum’s Facebook Live feed to tune into “Storytime” with Mrs. Jacki.

Executive Director Suzanne Ross sets up her phone for Facebook Live during virtual “Storytime” at the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum in Boynton Beach on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

“We realize this is a challenging time for the community with changes in routines and limited access to venues,” said Suzanne Ross, the museum’s executive director. “Virtual Storytime is our way of delivering hands-on discovery and play to families everywhere.”

On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., Mrs. Jacki’s “Storytime” will include songs, stories and interactive, hands-on arts and crafts. To watch, visit for the live feed and previous videos.
