Now, it’s time to vote. Fill out the form below and choose your finger-lickin’ favorite.
So what makes the fried chicken served at a grocery store, no-frills eatery and a couple of high-end restaurants a cluck above the rest?
In their nominations, readers said the finalists all have something in common: fried chicken that is fresh, not greasy with crispy, crunchy coating on the outside and juicy and tender meat on the inside that tastes like “old-fashioned home cooking.”
They also said they liked that it’s consistent and a good value.
“It’s addictive!” one reader said about her nomination.
When another reader picks up an order at his favorite spot, he said the pieces never make it home: “I eat them in the car.”
Voting will close on Monday, Jan. 22. Can’t see the form below? Click here to open it.
