Red Dead Redemption 2's Night Folk are not normal for players to find. For those who are looking for one of the game's biggest scares, it'll require a torch, an after-dark excursion, and alternatively, iron will or dark trousers.
Released on Oct. 26, Red Dead Redemption 2 was a critical and commercial hit that proved popular with many players and reviewers. Set in the dying days of the old West, RDR2 looks to recreate some of the mystique of the frontier... but also some of its frightening horrors. From serial killers to cannibals, the Wild West has plenty of terrors and one of the most memorable are the Night Folk.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Night Folk: Where to Find the Night Folk
Players must travel to Saint Denis and head north to Bayou Nwa. There, they must trudge through the Lakay swamp area at night to encounter some of the Night Folk. Finding them will unlock a hidden Stranger mission called "A Fine Night For It."
For the mission to appear on the map, players will have to rest by camping or staying at an inn. After doing so, they can follow the map marker to meet an elderly man who will lead the player to his house, which has been overrun by the Night Folk. At the house, he'll task the player with eliminating the murderous madmen... if they're willing to enter a shadowy, cramped homestead with many machete-wielding lunatics looking to slice poor Arthur Morgan into ribbons.
