A 15-year-old girl was airlifted to a Phoenix hospital with serious head injuries following a crash near Prescott on Dec. 26. The teenage girl was thrown from the backseat and into the windshield during the crash on Cooper Basin Road. Four other teens inside the car were not hurt. Investigators say the driver was believed to be speeding and failed to negotiate a turn before hitting an embankment. The 15-year-old girl was not wearing a seatbelt.

Authorities say 68-year-old Michael Grossman Sr. and 29-year-old Michael Grossman Jr. were arrested at the Prescott Country Club after deputies served a search warrant at their home and found nearly 20 firearms and 85 fentanyl pills.
