Paula Byrne Obituary, Death Cause – On the 8th of October, 2023, Paula Byrne (née Quinn) passed away peacefully at Southern Area Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of 40 Patrician Park, Carrivemaclone, Newry. Paula was not just a beloved wife, but also a loving mother to her daughters Sharin, Bernadette, and Amanda. Her role as a devoted grandmother to Luke added immeasurable joy to her life.
Paula’s life was a testament to love, commitment, and selflessness. Her marriage to Kearn was a shining example of enduring love, and her dedication as a mother was unwavering. She poured her heart and soul into raising her daughters, imparting invaluable life lessons along the way. Paula’s love extended to her role as a grandmother, where she delighted in the innocence and wonder of young Luke.
Paula’s remains will be respectfully received at Mc Gennity’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, the 10th of October, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Wednesday morning, the 11th of October, her final journey will commence with a removal at 11:30 am, leading to a Requiem Mass at 12 noon in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge. Following the Mass, Paula will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
