Pakistan Association were another team to be bowled out for less than 100 as they were beaten by six wickets by Templars at Diocesan Boys School.

Only two batsmen, J. Iqbal (32) and A. Amdani (23) made double figures, while Nanda Perera and Yarman Vachha grabbed three wickets each for defending Sunday champions Templars.

But Templars' run-chase was also not without hazard as they lost four wickets before eventually overhauling their target in the 26th over.

Ravi Sujanani, who took two for 10 earlier in the match, top-scored with 31. He was helped by Charlie Goonesena, who was unbeaten on 25.

Templars earned 20 points for the win, restricting the Pakistanis to a single point.
