Born on October 10, 1994, Suzy is one of three idols that netizens have nicknamed “rabbit-dol” because of her trademark bunny-like front teeth. Fans have come to love the endearing trait over the years, noting that she’s had a bunny-like appearance ever since her childhood. Although there has been speculation that she got plastic surgery, she’s only admitted to getting dental laminate treatment.Almost a decade ago, pre-debut photos of her surfaced online, and fans discovered that she used to be a model for an online shopping site.
Suzy has always wanted to perform, attending the School of Performing Arts Seoul and graduating in 2013.

Luckily, representatives from agency JYP Entertainment scouted her and she became a trainee. Suzy revealed that she was actually scouted beside the restroom of where the Superstar K auditions were being held.
Suzy then debuted in girl group Miss A in 2010. Soon after, she started hosting music shows. She also made her acting debut in smash hit series Dream High (along with IU and Kim Soo-hyun) and her movie debut in Architecture 101. She also snagged several commercial films and endorsements – today she’s one of the most in-demand hallyu (Korean Wave) stars.Suzy has definitely come a long way, but she’ll always be known as the innocent-looking “Nation’s First Love” of South Korea.
