Fast-growing Nautical Ventures Group is beefing up its presence in Palm Beach County.
The Dania Beach company this week announced plans to open a second marine superstore in the county on July 25.
The Riviera Beach store at 1501 Broadway follows the opening of a Nautical Ventures superstore at Northlake Marina in North Palm Beach in fall 2015.
It’s the third Nautical Ventures superstore in South Florida, joining the original location that opened in Dania in March 2014.
Nautical Ventures said its decision to open the Riviera Beach store was fueled by expansion work at the nearby Riviera Beach Marina and Rybovich Yachting Center.
“Our proximity to the new Riviera Beach Marina and Rybovich will provide area yards and captains with a convenient supplier for yacht tenders and service, especially through our partnership with Novurania and our extensive tender inventory,” said Roger Moore, company CEO, in announcing the new location.
The Riviera Beach showroom will focus mainly on boat and tender sales and will offer several new boat brands not currently available at the Dania and North Palm Beach locations, Nautical Ventures said. It will also provide servicing for boats and other vessels.
Nautical Ventures said it also operates a kiosk for kayak and standup paddle board rentals near the new superstore, to cater to water sports enthusiasts headed to the popular boating destination Peanut Island.
