Aguirre began working for the state of Durango’s Government developing computer systems for Housing projects and Social developments He was the director of operations in 1994 at Sirloin Stockade Restaurants. He started the restaurant business by opening the first international franchised restaurant concept in Torreón.

In 1998 the owner of the original delice de flandes chocolatier in Torreón offered the business to Susana and Nacho as she was going back to Belgium from there Susana Mijares. Aguirre started to experiment with different recipes that would complement and elevate the flavors of Belgian chocolate. They later migrated to the U.S. and opened a second Delice Bakery in San Antonio Texas.

Aguirre’s wife and other eight Americans competed throughout seven episodes of the Spring! Baking Championship Season 2. Their skills and techniques were tested throughout the season with spring-themed challenges.
