Thank you for taking your time and patience to visit this page. I'm a proud art teacher of 800 students at a Title 1 Elementary school in NYC. Everyday I do my best to inspire our young artists who might become doctors, scientists, accountants, or world leaders in our colorful bright art room. We don't know who they will become, but one thing for sure is that... they all possess the ability to be creative and imaginative, which will open up endless possibilities for our future. Art is not just knowing how to mix green with paint or draw a still-life as realistic as possible. Art is everywhere. It is the pattern of your shirt, the way you arrange your furniture, the feelings we want to express when we are excited or angry. It can be realistic, practical, but also very abstract. Together, we can help our children develop creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills they need to succeed in life.
