My school is an elementary school with an amazing dual language program! Teachers and students demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and learning in both English and Spanish. Many of our students come into the library and ask for certain books, which we simply do not have the money to buy. This is my fifth year working at this school and I am determined to create a library environment where students are excited to visit and use the library to enhance their knowledge of nonfiction and fiction genres. Besides, what is better then having a child excited to read in his/her free time...especially when the child is excited to read in two languages!
