These materials will allow me to set up STEM centers and stations to help give my children opportunities to explore the many facets of STEM. These materials and games will showcase magnets, engineering, creativity, and problem solving. Our short half day needs to take advantage of every second to be teaching everything our future leaders will need. With developmentally appropriate, explorative materials to help develop fine motor skills, they will be able to exercise those small hand muscles that are needed to learn how to write their letters and numbers. This generation has been called the digital natives because of their innate ability for technology but, they still need to learn how to control those muscles in ways other than swiping up, down, and across. They will have their learning enriched with efficient, dynamic play. that play will give them skills they need to be well rounded for their futures.
