Miles Garrett joined the FOX 5 Sports staff as a producer for the station’s Falcons programming in July 2021. Since then, he has worked on coverage for the majority of the main sports teams in north Georgia. He covered the Atlanta Braves’ World Series run with live reports from Los Angeles during the NLCS and has worked solely with the Atlanta Falcons on other projects. This includes road trips as well as the team’s scouting process leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft, with coverage at the East-West Shrine Game in Las Vegas and the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
He has also written extensively about the Georgia Bulldogs and was nominated for an Emmy for his feature report on former UGA head coach Mark Richt and player Tra Battle. He also worked as an embed reporter for Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s re-election campaign in 2022. He was able to speak one-on-one with Vice President Mike Pence, Governor Chris Christie, and others.
He previously worked at WSBT 22 in South Bend, Indiana, where he covered Notre Dame athletics. Miles previously worked as a news and sports reporter for WGXA in Macon.
