Duel antara Pink Spiders dan Red Sparks pada laga ketiga putaran kelima Liga Voli Korea 2023-2024 digelar di Samsan World Gymnasium, Korea Selatan, Kamis (8/2/2024).
Red Sparks kalah dengan skor 1-3 (21-25, 25-19, 23-25, 19-25). Dalam laga ini, Megawati mencetak poin terbanyak dengan 24 angka.
Dilansir dari BolaSport, Megawati dkk tertinggal jauh 4-10 pada awal set pertama. Mereka tak mampu mengejar poin Pink Spiders hingga technical time out kedua dengan skor 9-16.
Servis Megawati membuat Red Sparks unggul tipis 3-2 pada set ketiga. Namun, servis Megawati berikutnya menghasilkan poin untuk lawan karena menyangkut di net.
Pertandingan berjalan sengit hampir sepanjang set ketiga hingga kedua tim tetap berbagi angka sama 20-20.
Akan tetapi, dua kesalahan beruntun dilakukan Lee So-young dan Park Hye-min saat menyerang dan receive.
Momen tersebut yang menyebabkan Red Sparks harus kehilangan momentum. Spike Megawati yang keluar mengakhiri perlawananan pada set ketiga.
Pad set keempat, Red Sparks terus tertinggal hingga technical time out pertama dengan skor 5-8.
Red Sparks berupaya mengejar poin hingga selisih angkanya menipis menjadi 10-11. Namun, beberapa kesalahan membuat lawan justru menjauh sampai technical time out kedua dengan skor 16-11.
