Kirk Herbstreit is an American sportscaster. He presently serves for ESPN’s College GameDay as an analyst and also provides color commentary on college football games on both ABC and ESPN. Kirk for his TV work in various categories has won five Sports Emmy Awards.
Before his current role, Herbstreit used to appear annually as a commentator in EA Sports’ NCAA Football. However, this stopped after the series was put on hiatus following NCAA Football 14. Kirk served from 1989 to 1993 for the Ohio State football team as a quarterback. Also, he played in different games during his junior season. Throughout his senior season, He was the starting quarterback.
