Jonathan Schmidt Obituary, Death Cause – The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the name of the construction worker who was struck and killed by a semi-truck while working in a construction zone on Westbound U.S. 35 in Riverside early on Thursday morning. The worker was working in the construction zone on Westbound US 35. The worker was performing their duties in the lanes of US 35 that were heading west. Unfortunate circumstances were eventually responsible for the construction worker’s passing away.
On Friday, the office of the medical examiner made the announcement that the deceased individual had been identified as Jonathan Schmidt. Jonathan Schmidt was 38 years old at the time of his passing, as stated in the statement released by the office of the medical examiner. According to Major Matthew Sturgeon of the Riverside Police Department, police and medical personnel were dispatched to the site of an accident that took place on Westbound Highway 35 in the neighborhood of the Woodman Drive flyover in the construction zone just before 4 a.m. this morning. The incident occurred in the construction zone in the vicinity of the Woodman Drive flyover.
The construction zone can be found close to the roadway in its immediate surroundings. The event took place smack dab in the heart of the construction zone. When Xavier Hershovitz, who works for News Center 7, visited the scene of the accident, the damaged construction equipment was brought to his notice. Hershovitz was informed that the equipment had been destroyed. The City of Riverside will be in charge of conducting the investigation into the incident, while the Ohio State Patrol will be in charge of reconstructing the accident itself.
