Jason Chainsaw Geier Obituary-Death News; Victim From Fort Recovery, Ohio Passes Away From Colon Cancer That Spread To His Liver & Bladder

Jason “Chainsaw” Geier, a resident of Fort Recovery, sadly went away after a long and courageous battle against colon cancer that had spread to his liver and bladder.

The initial diagnosis of the disease was made on New Year’s Eve in 2018. The course of treatment for Geier consisted of a number of medical examinations and chemotherapy sessions that took place over the course of the year.

In spite of the fact that Geier experienced a brief reprieve in January 2020 as a result of encouraging negative scans, he was confronted with a setback in October when the cancer returned in his liver, which resulted in the restarting of chemotherapy treatments.

It was the Sawyer Overman Annual Wiffle Ball Benefit Weekend that provided Jason and Melissa Geier with the support they needed.

Jason and Melissa Geier reside in Fort Recovery with their four young sons and their wife Melissa.

With the intention of assisting the Geier family with their medical expenditures or providing them with financial flexibility, the organizers decided to make the Geier family the beneficiaries of a share of the revenues from the New Year’s Eve celebration that came in at a 50-50 split.
