Informative Statue Animal Crossing: New Horizons aims to help players make informed decisions about what they buy from Crazy "Jolly" Redd's boat.
Every so often, Crazy Redd the fox will visit your island and peddle his fine art wares. This may seem all well and good, but there's a catch. Some of the pieces he brings are actually fakes. It's up the player to compare each piece to its real-life counterpart and determine the authenticity. Only then can they be brought to Blathers for display in the new wing of your island's museum.
Here's some information about the Informative Statue.

Informative Statue Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The Informative Statue is actually a copy of the real-world artifact the "Rosetta Stone." Redd may attempt to pull the wool over your eyes with a blue version—possibly mimicking the logo of the "Rosetta Stone" language learning service—but the authentic piece is pure black.
The Rosetta Stone is a slab of granodiorite inscribed with a passage three separate times in three different languages. It was discovered in 1799 in the town of Rashid near the Nile Delta and was quintessential in translation efforts of hieroglyphics. It was believed to be carved during the Hellenistic period (323 BC—31 BC) and describes an edict by King Ptolemy V Epiphanes in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics, Demotic, and Ancient Greek.
It is currently being held at the British Museum in London.
