How to relocate in Madden 21 Franchise Mode is one of the top questions about the game. One of the cool features about the Franchise Mode is that you can relocate your team to a new city.

For starters, when starting your franchise, you have to be the owner, no other job position can relocate your team. Once you do this and get to your Week 1 screen, you can now relocate.

How to Relocate in Madden 21

The steps for relocation take time, but is pretty simple.

First, you need to go to your League Setting and change your relocation setting to "users only" or "everyone." Only select everyone if you want CPU teams to be able to relocate as well. Go to the "Team" tab and click "My Owner." After clicking on "My Owner" you then scroll down and click "my Stadium." This is where you will see your stadium and its rating. Scroll down to the "Relocate" button. The process starts at Week 6, so you can either simulate to then or play each week. You will now be able to select what city you want to relocate to. You will now be able to choose which city you want to move to. Once you go to the next week you will then be able to choose your team's name. When you sim to the following week again, you will be able to choose your uniforms. Lastly, the very next week you will be able to change your stadium.

Tried to relocate Washington’s team to Oakland in Madden 21 & there were no options for branding so that means we are now the Oakland Washington Football Team.
