How to Play Two Player in Pokémon Let's Go

Activating two player mode in Pokémon Let's Go is very simple. After logging in, players must check the bottom right corner of their screen to see a green icon with a picture of two figures or players. The second player must shake their PokéBall Plus or their Joy-Con to join.

When playing in two player co-op, the second character will always be the other gender character. If the main player is a male, the second character will be a female, and vice versa. The second character will not have their own party nor will they be able to interact with Pokémon and non playable characters. They also can't pick up any items. If the player wants a Pokémon to follow behind them, it will be the second Pokémon in the first player's team.

Playing with two players won't allow the second player to transfer any progress to their own game nor will they be able to get their own Pokémon -- though there are catch bonuses if the players throw a PokéBall at the same time when catching a Pokémon.
