How to Earn Your Legendary as Blacksmith in WoW Shadowlands
To craft Legendaries, you'll have to first get to level 100. The quickest way is to craft Ceremonious items through level 50, and then Shadowsteel items.
This will allow you to create the Shadowghast armor series, which can be turned into Legendaries with the Runecarver in Torghast. The Shadowghast armor shares the same materials for each piece. You'll need Shadowghast Ingot, Enchanted Elethium bar, Luminous Flux and Orboreal Shard to make Shadowghast pieces.
Legendary base items also need to be crafted in ranks. The more you craft an item, the more experience you get. The trainer will start you off with a rank 1 pattern, which you'll need to craft 15 of to get to rank 2. Then it's eight more to get to rank 3, and then five more for rank 4. The ranks are tied to the kind of armor you make, so you'll have to repeat this for different items.
The higher the rank of the Legendary base time, the better the Legendary will come out. These base items aren't soulbound, so you can get them from other players. If you're a blacksmith, this is a good way of earning some gold as players rush to get their Legendaries.
From here, Runecarving the Legendary needs Soul Ash, a Legendary power and two Missives that will determine the item's secondary effects.
