How can I find my iPod Touch if it is out of charge?

I can't find my iPod Touch. I tried using Find my iPhone to see if it was still home but it couldn't find it. I dont know if someone stole it or if it is still in the house and I really need to find it soon because my parents are not getting me a new one!

Any tips?
