Grace received her early education in Wells and Kennebunk High School, setting the groundwork for her many talents. A standout student, Grace excelled academically as well as athletically; earning a tennis scholarship to University of Rhode Island. Grace made headlines throughout high school for her outstanding tennis achievements on both courts – where her left-handed skill made an impressionful mark against rival left-handed opponents; becoming one of her class’ leading junior players while twice winning state championship titles which testifies to Grace’s indomitable spirit!

Grace loved animals more than just as an interest – they became her life. Her fondness for them went far beyond mere hobbyism: Grace used animals as therapy Melinda is known for her generous spirit, always looking to provide care and aid those in need.
Grace’s dedication to animal welfare extended well beyond academic pursuits. As an active volunteer at Safe Haven Animal Rescue in Wells and the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk, Grace not only provided care but found solace through empathy and affection for these wonderful creatures. Grace demonstrated this by interning at Kennebunk Veterinary Hospital which further cemented her dedication and passion for caring for them while attesting to her inborn ability of understanding how each creature needs cared for individually.
Grace’s Battle with Mental Illness
