My Project
My project goal is to help any student that needs hygiene or menstrual products and ensure they have free access. Many of our students come from low-income households and may not have access to products at home.
When female students have free access to menstrual pads they are less likely to miss instructional time.
It is my goal to have a hygiene closet set up in my office and a menstrual pad cart set up in my bathroom for students to access as needed.
Students will be able to make a take-home bag of products when needed. Help me end period poverty at my school and provide my students with these very necessary but basic needs.
