My Project
The drones and obstacle courses that I am requesting will go directly into the eager hands of 30 middle school aged girls. My goal is to immerse these young ladies in the STEM world regardless of their socioeconomic situation.
Fly Girls is a brand new club at my school that will allow girls to become licensed drone pilots, participate in drone flying competitions, collaborate with women in STEM in our community, and learn about career opportunities involving drone use.
Fly Girls not only equips young girls with STEM skills, but also gives them an opportunity to get involved in a fun and meaningful extracurricular activity.
By donating to our project, you are affording our girls opportunities in STEM that they otherwise may not have. Our mission to get our girls excited about STEM and help them build confidence in their abilities as young budding scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
