Deerfield Beach defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus signs with Oregon Ducks

Deerfield Beach defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus signed with Oregonon the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Dorlus, a three-star prospect, picked the Ducks over Florida, Auburn and Clemson.

The senior Bucks defensive lineman is a first-team All-County selection and finished his senior season with 74 tackles, including 27 for losses, three forced fumbles and 11 sacks.

Dorlus joins teammate Ge’mon Eaford in signing up to attend college in Eugene.

Dorlus was previously committed to Virginia Tech but decommitted on Dec. 5. Dorlus is ranked as the No. 970 player and No. 70 strong-side defensive end in the 2019 class. He is the No. 20 player in the Sun Sentinel’s top 50 Broward County prospects.
