Cooper City to light up park

Cooper City will be lighting up a park for the holidays.

The free annual “Light Up Cooper City” will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 2 at Cooper City Memorial Park, located next to City Hall, 9000 SW 50th Place. In addition to the tree lights and music, children between the ages of 1 and 8 can visit a costumed Santa Claus. Attendees are asked do donate canned items for the city’s food drive.
