Miami Hurricanes starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, who is battling a right leg ailment, was forced from playing against Clemson on Saturday night.
About an hour before game time, the Associated Press’ Tim Reynolds reported the news.

Van Dyke has completed 129 of 183 passes this season for 1,721 yards, 16 touchdown passes and six interceptions, though five of the picks have come in the past two games, both Atlantic Coast Conference matchups (Georgia Tech and North Carolina).
The quarterback has yet to play more than 10 games in a season at Coral Gables.
Freshman Emory Williams got the start, the first of his college career, with Jacurri Brown backing him up.
