CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials say a firefighter was injured Wednesday afternoon during a structure fire in Centre County.

Emergency officials say the fire appeared to be caused by a downed power line that made contact with a garage located on East Potter Avenue in Centre Hall.

The fire happened just before noon knocking out power for about 1,000 residents.

Officials say a Centre Hall firefighter reported receiving an electrical shock.
