Bo Mcintosh Obituary, Death Cause – Death came unexpectedly to 68-year-old Bo” McIntosh of Anna, Tennessee, a former resident of Johnston City, on October 7, 2023, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, while he and his family were on vacation. Aston “Bud” and Pauline (Vick) McIntosh welcomed their son Bo into the world on October 15, 1954, in Herrin. He received his high school diploma from Johnston City in 1974.

At SEMO University in Cape Girardeau, Bo worked as a custodian before. He eventually resigned from that position. His background was in preaching, and he was a deeply committed Christian. He was a regular at Anna’s New Beginnings Church. Going fishing, playing cards, going on vacation, and watching JCHS football games were some of his favorite pastimes. Seeing his grandkids compete in athletic events brought him as much satisfaction as eating delicious meals.

Bo is survived by his two daughters, Amber (Ryan) Wachter and Ashley McIntosh, both of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Addison McIntosh, Mayson Smith, and Ava Jane Wachter; his significant other, Karen Moss, of Anna; his siblings, Brenda (Ronnie) Litton of Johnston City, Bobby McIntosh of West Frankfort, and Randy McIntosh of Johnston City; his former spouse, Melissa Smith; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Lannom, Whitlea McIntosh, Ashton McIntosh

Kristy McIntosh, and Aston McIntosh; great nieces and nephews, Kolton Lannom, Bryce Albright, Maximum McIntosh, Maliki McIntosh, and Aston McIntosh; and great niece on the way, Kay’oira Jachelle Patton. His brothers and sisters will continue Bo’s work as well. His favorite dog, Sox, is just one of many who will miss him. His parents and siblings—Buddy, Beverly, Gary, Jane, and Pete—as well as his niece Nikki McIntosh—all passed away before him.
