BioShock Infinite's upcoming downloadable content will include new plasmids, weapons and items, according to a series of tweets today from game designer Ken Levine.
Levine took to Twitter today to respond to fan questions about the recently announced Burial at Sea DLC, which will be split into two parts, focused on story and return players to the original BioShock's Rapture setting, before its ignominious fall. Rather than recreating BioShock, he tweeted that the DLC will feature "mostly tweaked Infinite gameplay systems, not [BioShock] 1 systems recreated from scratch."

In response to a fan wishing for the return of the Incinerate plasmid, Levine wrote that Irrational Games won't be "re-creating [BioShock] 1 plasmids." He also revealed that the game will include "SOME new systems (weapon, plasmid, gear)" and that the level geometry is "largely new." In addition, the story is "all new" and Burial at Sea will also include new enemy types.
