Antron Pippen was an American basketball player who reportedly spent time hoopin’ at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). He is well known for being the elder son of Scottie Pippen. On April 18, 2020, Scottie Pippen revealed his oldest son Antron Pippen had passed away on Sunday at the age of 33.

Revealing his son’s death, Scottie Pippen said “I’m heartbroken to share that I said goodbye to my firstborn son Antron yesterday. The two of us shared a love for basketball and we had countless conversations about the game.”
Scottie continued, “Antron suffered from chronic asthma and if he hadn’t had it, I truly believe he would’ve made it to the NBA. He never let that get him down, though — Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became.”Antron Pippen Cause of Death
Antron’s father Scottie did not reveal Antron’s cause of death. Antron was born in 1987 in the United States. He was 33 years old at the time of his death.
Antron Pippen’s Parents and Family
Antron was a son to Karen McCollum (mother) and Scottie Pippen. His parents married in 1988 before splitting in 1990.Antron Pippen Siblings
The oldest is Antron. Antron was born on December 29, 1987, and was Scottie’s sole child with Karen McCollum, his ex-wife (according to Marie Claire, they were married from 1988 to 1990). When Scottie announced Antron’s passing, he made reference to his ex-wife, saying, “Please keep his mom, Karen, and all of his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.”
Scottie would go on to give Antron six half-siblings: Scotty Pippen Jr., 20, Sophia Pippen, 12, Preston Pippen, 18, and Justin Pippen, 15, with estranged wife Larsa Pippen; Sierra Pippen, 26, with ex-girlfriend Yvette Deleone; and Taylor Pippen, 26, along with her twin sister, Tyler Pippen, who tragically passed away in the hospital nine days after birth.
