Animal Crossing: New Horizons is introducing many exciting types of fish for June. Whether it's catching a Great White Shark in the sea or discovering an Arapaima in the river, players can look forward to completing their aquarium or earning more Nook Miles.

For users who set their islands in the Northern Hemisphere, there are 14 new types of fish to catch in June. Here's a list of fish to catch in the seas and rivers:

  • Giant Snakehead (5,500 Bells)
  • Gar (800 Bells)
  • Arapaima (10,000 Bells)
  • Dorado (15,000 Bells)
  • Arowana (10,000 Bells)
  • Saddled Bichir (4,000 Bells)
  • Tilapia (800 Bells)
  • Piranha (2,500 Bells)
  • Great White Shark (15,000 Bells)
  • Hammerhead Shark (8,000 Bells)
  • Saw Shark (12,000 Bells)
  • Ribbon Eel (600 Bells)
  • Suckerfish (1,500 Bells)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has 80 various types of fish, but you can read more about the times and locations of catching different fish here.

As for the players who live in the Southern Hemisphere, there are five new types of fish to catch in June. Southern Hemisphere players can discover:

  • Pond Smelt (500 Bells)
  • Oarfish (9,000 Bells)
  • Sea Butterfly (1,000 Bells)
  • Squid (500 Bells)
  • Stringfish (15,000 Bells)

Players can participate in fishing tournaments when C.J. arrives to their islands. Known as the host of the fishing tourney, C.J. also buys fish for 150% of their typical price. When participating in the fishing tourney, players can exchange their fish for points and fish swag.
